Educated at the art academies of Rotterdam and Antwerp, Roland brings in an aesthetic eye for identity design and art direction. Combined with a creative sense of concepting, he takes responsibility for many national and international brand projects. After more than 15 years having worked at renowned agencies, he followed up on his dream to start his own agency.
During his time at law school, Maarten was already contemplating a future in advertising. Therefore, in addition, he followed a 3-year course at the Amsterdam Academy for Art-Direction and Design. The combination positioned him for a succesful career in advertising as a copywriter and brand strategist. He founded Westerlingen in 2013, together with Roland.
Marco is an entrepreneurial minded brand development professional, with broad experience in leading (interim) positions, both on the side of agencies and clients. Together with a keen understanding of the impact and implications of creative branding, he adds his managing skills to secure seamless execution of our brand & content strategies and concepts.
